Students in an Environmental Studies capstone course created a recipe book to help people cook with food scraps and leftovers. The cookbook includes 50 recipes and features practical tips to reduce food waste in the kitchen.

What's New at UW?

Snapshot Wisconsin
In a collaboration of the Wisconsin DNR, NASA and UW–Madison, Snapshot Wisconsin aims to provide comprehensive caches of wildlife data by using 4,000-5,000 trail cameras.
WiscWind builds and tests prototype
Students in engineering, business, and social sciences entered a wind turbine prototype in the 2016 Department of Energy Collegiate Wind Competition. The team placed sixth in the national competition last week.
