As the air gets a little cooler, we welcome Autumn with some brand new exhibitions, featuring INDO POP: Indonesian Art from APT7, Taking it to the Edge by members of Chatsworth MopARTs and the Gympie Regional Council Heritage Art Competition.

Don't miss the opening of the Tattersall's Club Landscape Art Prize and The Good, the Bad and the not SO Ugly by Sam Keane on Saturday 4 June, 1.00pm.

Dr Jennifer Sanzaro-Nishimura
An international project borne out of the experience of extreme weather events resulting in catastrophic floods suffered by residents of South East Queensland and Wales in the period from the Queensland “inland tsunami” in 2011 to the Welsh floods in 2013.

An exhibition by members of the Chatsworth MopARTs exploring the notion of "the edge".

 
The 2016 theme for the annual Heritage Art Competition is 'Discovery and Rediscoveries'. Entry Forms are available [online] or at the Gallery.
1st Prize Adult Section: $1,000
Sections for Youth and Children

Entries close: Thursday 21 April, 4.00pm
Prize Presentation: Wednesday 18 May, 3.30pm
 

 

On display until 16 April is the Blue Suitcase containing artworks that can be touched and explored.

To celebrate its 150th anniversary and mark 25 years of the Landscape Art prize, the Tattersall's Club Committee has made available a selection of winning entries to tour to Queensland.
