We've got stuff going on over at mima every night this coming week - kicking off with The AMAZING Burning Hell, + Dressed Like Wolves on Monday night. We also have some Ted style boffin talks - with Pint of Science events taking place on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday... And a special Electric Kool Aid Cabaret with open Mic on Thursday evening... All served up with Waiting Room stews and Beer.

THE BURNING HELL are about as awesome as it gets… with ROCK to make you scream along, TEAR JERKING FOLK BALLADS to put you in touch with your forgotten vulnerabilities, and LYRICAL MIND TWISTING RAP to make you slack jawed with awe! And a crowd that can’t help but be bang up for this. Mathias Kom and The Burning Hell serve up incredible kick ass moments full of complex ideas and simple truths.

Teesside's premier live literature event returns as part of Creative Teesside with an eclectic mix of poetry, short dramatic sketches and live music. Hosted by the dynamic duo Andy Willoughby and Bob Beagrie and featuring students from Teesside University's undergraduate and postgraduate creative writing courses, local writers, musicians and special Shamanic guest poet Katariina Vuorinen from the wilds of Finland, plus open mic slots.
