School Year Volunteer 
It takes more than 250 volunteers to run all the PTO programs each year.  There are more than 50 committees requiring chairpersons and volunteers.  From beloved Crow Island traditions to new programs, fundraising events and room parent opportunities, there are countless ways to help at Crow Island.  Please consider how you can get involved!

1st and 2nd Grades participate in the morning (8:45 - 11:00 am)
3rd and 4th Grades participate after lunch (12:30 - 2:45 pm)

Please Save Your Grand Receipts This Summer!
The Grand Food Center will generously refund to the Crow Island PTO 3% of your submitted receipts, and it’s so easy to participate!  Save your receipts each time you shop at the Grand this summer.  Then in August, drop off your collected receipts in the designated box on Ms. Badger’s desk.

Thanks to the wonderful participation of school parents and the generosity of the Grand this program has raised almost $7,000 for Crow Island this school year.

4th Grade Graduation Activities




JUNE 3
  • Morning: T-shirt distribution and Class Photo at 8:45 am
  • Evening: Graduation Party at Skokie School Cafeteria at 6:30 pm

  •  Crows on Parade at 8:00 am
  • 4th Grade DVD Assembly at 9:00 am

June 7 OR June 8 (in the am)

  • Memory packages distributed to the children in their classrooms (yearbooks, class photo, DVD)

Thank you parents, teachers, CI staff and 4th grade graduation committee!  We are looking forward to sharing the year-end fun with each of you and the children. Here’s to Good ‘Ole Crow Island—Best School Ever Made!
