AMECA believes that access to healthcare is a right............ the provision of healthcare in Malawi remains a huge challenge; we are only one, but still we are one. We cannot do everything, but we can do something. And because we cannot do everything, we will not refuse to do the something that we can do.

FOUNDATION STONE CEREMONY
A DAY OF HOPE AND JOY

The foundation stones for the AMECA Clinic were laid by Dr. Peter Kumpalume, Hon. Minister of Health on 3 May 2016 at Chilaweni Village on 3rd May. The joy of everyone was palpable in a ceremony attended by hundreds, including M.P Susan Ndalama, Chief of Health Services Charles Mwansambo, members of The Blantyre District Health Office, Staff and pupils from St Andrews International School, The Traditional Authority Machinjiri, Chief Malunga, village committee members, and of course the communities.
