GEELONG REGION CROSS COUNTRY

SEASON 2016
ROUND 3 - CRUDEN FARM
Cruden Farm in Langwarrin was a magnificent location for XCR Round 3. Conditions were perfect and the course true to cross country in every sense! Climbs, dips, mud baths, gravel and grass - it had it all. It was a testing outing for Open Women and Men, who ran 8km and 16km respectively, with Juniors running between 4km and 8km.

The trip from Geelong to Langwarrin is not an easy one and a massive thank you goes out to all that made it. While the GRCC turn out was small on numbers, it was big on strength. There was a strong showing across Juniors and Open runners.

Coverage
Despite the low number of runners, Paul came home with 517 photos from the scenic Cruden Farm. Check out the Facebook page to see what made the final edit.
Round 4 - Lake Wendouree
Lake Wendouree is a well known fixture on the XCR calendar and it's where Round 4 action will be on Saturday 4 June. Ballarat has always been a positive outing for GRCC so lets make sure we have an improvement on numbers from the previous two rounds.

Juniors and Open early starters kick of at 2pm with the Open Women and Men 15km scheduled for 2:30pm.

Here's a clip of last year's event. Watch Nick have a great day out and get inspired for June 4!
