New Free Course on Basic Internetology
We at Master Samurai Tech have created a short, FREE, course on the basics of using the Internet. If you're comfortable with terms like "browser" and "URL", then this course probably wouldn't be for you.

But for those of you (mostly from a certain generation!) who are a little confused by the Internet, the terms used for things, and the general way you're supposed to write and interact, then this course is for you!

In working with Academy students and Appliantology members, we often get asked questions like "What's a browser?", "I don't know what a URL is", or "WHY DO PEOPLE NOT LIKE IT WHEN I TYPE LIKE THIS?".

The course is very short right now but will grow as we get feedback on new topics from techs who have gone through it. You can knock out the course in less than an hour, but will benefit greatly from the web-related info packed in here.

Learn more about the free Internetology course and see it's syllabus here. You can set up a FREE MST account to take the course here!
Circuit Fu - the Ancient Lost Art of Appliance Repair
There's a deficiency in the appliance repair trade. Somewhere in the last 20 years, a crucial skill was lost. That lost skill is Circuit Fu, the ability to read schematic tech sheets to troubleshoot circuits.

There was an age where most appliance techs were trained in the art of Circuit Fu, but most of those techs are gone now, taking with them the ability to troubleshoot electric circuits and read schematics just when that skill is needed most.

Appliances are more computerized than ever, and will only continue to get more so. But unfortunately, many techs don't know the ways of Circuit Fu, and so can only guess at problems and hope they replace the right part.

Learn the lost art of Circuit Fu and kick appliance boot-ay!
A new feature for Professional Appliantologists has cranked it up to 11! That new feature is a live tech help chatroom. Now you and your fellow Brethren can help each other live on Appliantology.
