Five vacancies to be filled on Ongar Town Council
Ongar Town Council currently has two vacancies for the Marden Ash Ward, one for Shelley Ward, one for Greensted Ward and one for the Chipping Ongar Ward.
Candidates should have an interest in local matters and be willing to represent their community to the council’s partners (eg voluntary groups, other parish councils, principal authority and charities).
Applicants should be able to attend council meetings and other events in the evenings and at weekends.
Experience of working with voluntary and or local community/ interest groups would be an advantage.
This is a very rewarding voluntary role and has the potential to give great job satisfaction.
