We are very happy to be working with Kate Benak, RF, CNA, CLYT (RF # 60433321). She works in the office on Tuesdays and Sundays and offers local house calls.

Here is a little information about our newest staff member:
 

Kate Benak, a Washington State Certified Reflexologist, has practiced reflexology since 2007. Kate offers therapeutic reflexology as care and treatment for holistic healing, pain-management, relaxation and rejuvenation. She offers her services at Seattle Reflexology and also provides in-home calls.  Kate has studied with renowned health and wellness teachers from around the world and continues to expand her portfolio of innovative reflexology techniques through advanced reflexology courses.  Besides classical reflexology, she has expertise in vertical reflexology - an acclaimed award-winning (newer) form of reflexology applied to weight-bearing feet or hands and known to accelerate the healing processes.

Kate began her reflexology practice in Olympia, WA and is member of the Washington Reflexology Association, the Vertical Reflexology Network based in England, and International Academy of Reflexology and Meridian Therapy. Kate regularly travels and makes presentations about wellness and stress-management to a variety of community based and professional audiences.  She has over a decade of experience in private in-home nursing and elderly care and believes in bringing joy and levity to her practice, so as to make the healing process fun as well as productive for her clientele.  Kate uses heart-centered techniques learned from Dr. Patch Adams and is a Certified Laughter Yoga Teacher trained by Dr. Madan Kataria.

Kate has been a Washington State resident for over 20 years and is an Evergreen State College Graduate. She looks forward to meeting you and invites you to "Step into your health, feet first!"
 

Reflexology students:  All reflexology sessions at SRMC may be used toward your "Professional Sessions" requirement. First-time student sessions will be granted a $15 discount.
