Who are ASI Members?
ASI's membership reached 31 organisations this month. ASI's membership classes consist of upstream companies ('Production and Transformation'), downstream users of aluminium ('Industrial Users' and 'Downstream Supporters'), NGOs and non-profit public good organisations ('Civil Society'), Associations, and General Supporters. See a list of current members.
Did you know that ASI membership costs as little as USD100 to a maximum of USD25,000 per year, depending on the type and scale of your organisation? Your membership will directly contribute resources and expertise to the development of ASI's certification program during 2016-17.

European Aluminium joins ASI
ASI is delighted to announce that European Aluminium (EA) has joined as an Associations member.
European Aluminium was founded in 1981 and is based in Brussels. It actively engages with decision makers and the wider stakeholder community to promote the outstanding properties of aluminium, secure growth and optimise the contribution aluminium can make to meeting Europe’s sustainability challenges. EA's 75 members include primary aluminium producers; downstream manufacturers of extruded, rolled and cast aluminium; producers of recycled aluminium and national aluminium associations, representing more than 600 plants in 30 European countries.
“Today’s industrial commitment to sustainability can only be credible if there is a tangible plan with vision, objectives and examples. With the Sustainability Roadmap towards 2025, the aluminium industry in Europe is demonstrating that sustainability is engrained in its values and vision of the world. For European Aluminium, joining the Aluminium Stewardship Initiative is a natural complement to the work our members do to achieve the voluntary targets of the Roadmap by 2025. Joining ASI as an associations member will trigger synergies and reinforce our engagement with key stakeholders,” said Gerd Götz, Director General of European Aluminium.
