Federal Election, Meet the Candidates: Q&A Tuesday 14 June

The Mount Alexander Sustainability Group (MASG) is offering the Mount Alexander Shire Community an opportunity to “Meet the Candidates” running for the Federal Electorate of Bendigo.

‘While MASG focuses on sustainable communities, we felt that our interests and that of the community at large would best be served by an event that gave all candidates the opportunity to present their parties’ position on a wide range of policy areas.’ Says Mick Lewin, MASG Chairperson.

The event will have a Q&A format with community members invited to submit questions on identified policy areas by the Friday 3rd June.

‘This will avoid the conversation being dominated by any one individual, group or topic, and will ensure it is conducted in a respectful manner.’ Says Mick Lewin.

Long serving community member and public forum facilitator Bill O’Donnell will be the moderator for the evening.

Where: Castlemaine Town Hall
When: Tuesday, June 14, 7:30 – 9:30pm
Moderator: Bill O’Donnell
