CFP: The Heritage of Al-Andalus II, Iberia-Persia (16 & 17 November: Seville)

Papers are being sought for “The Heritage of Al-Andalus II, Iberia-Persia,” a conference organized by the Three Cultures Foundation, in association with Allameh Tabatabai University (Tehran, Iran) and the University of Seville (Spain) to be held in Seville on 16 & 17 November 2016

This conference is the follow up of an international conference on The Heritage of Al-Andalus, Persia-Iberia (www.alandalus2015.ir) held in Tehran last year.

The international conference on The Heritage of Al-Andalus II, Iberia-Persia encourages interdisciplinary on Al-Andalus, as well as intercultural research approaches aimed at finding out how, when and where the encounter between these two cultures has provided more fertile ground. Prominent scholars in different fields of the humanities can contribute to this effort by presenting articles and participating in debates, dialogue among representatives of diverse cultures being a necessary and unavoidable tool for achieving mutual understanding and cooperation.

We call on scholars and researchers in various academic fields around the world to participate in this collective effort. As Organizing Committee, we look forward to welcoming you to the conference.

Deadlines and Submission Procedure.
Individuals willing to participate in the conference are invited to send their abstracts (maximum 300 words) along with CVs to the conference Secretariat via the conference email address: alandalus@tresculturas.org.
