THE EVER CHANGING
GARETH EMERY

In an industry as experimental and ever changing as dance music production, to remain an indispensable piece of the action can prove to be a challenging feat. Only a handful of acts have been able to compete in this position, especially within trance music, and Gareth Emery remains to this day one of the most iconic trance and progressive house producers to successfully migrate out of the UK and retain global recognition for his work.  Beginning his journey in 2002, Gareth Emery was instantly recognised and supported by some of the biggest influences in dance following his debut remix of The Shrinks ‘Nervous Breakdown’ and the career launching track GTR ‘Mistral’ - Judge Jules, Paul Van Dyke and Armin Van Buuren to name a few. Since then he has consistently backed it up release after release into 2016 a feat thats not often conquered stretching back 14 years and counting. . Catch Emery this weekend at Velvet Hypnotized.
CHRISTIAN BURKHARDT
STRETCHING THE LIMITS
Christian Burkhardt is an artist truly absorbed with the range of sonic possibilities. A producer not content with existing within the realms of House and Techno, but one that is determined to further stretch its limits with his signature sound. His long list of remixes for Tsuba Records, Mobilee and Deep Vibes are still ringing in club lands ears, as new original material on Oslo, Raum...Musik and Cocoon are constantly given the stamp of approval with regular rotation in clubs, radio and podcasts. His success is measured only in the pleasure that he finds in making music. A feeling that may star in the club, but it never seems ends there. After quickly spending a few minutes on google and searching further into the world of Christian Burkhardt his live show is something of legendary status and followed around each continental circuit with a cult like following! Koh once again come up trumps with another show not to be missed this weekend.

TIESTO & UMMET OZCAN
WHAT YOU'RE WAITING FOR

Dream team in full effect! Musical Freedom label boss Tiesto goes full throttle with Bali Clubbing favourite Ummet Ozcan, blasting out a steady electro house groove enriched with freaky synths and vocals drenched in effects. Based around the groove, What You're Waiting For is simply one hot energy filled rollercoaster ride taking things away from the obvious EDM aggressive leads and bringing back some wobbly chord work to get the fun back to where its always going to count - the dance floor. A obvious pick for a big across the festivals this summer but also our pick of the week as its a welcome change to the usual dime a dozen EDM tunes that hit the shelves from the usual suspects. #letsrave DRW 4.5/5

JORIS VOORN
THIS STORY UNTIL NOW
Following a slew of acclaimed remixes for the likes of Andhim, Sailor & I & DJ Dozia and a one-off single with Joran van Pol, Voorn returns with a pair of stunning new tracks for his GREEN imprint. "With this release I am making a bridge between last year and this. Looks Fake Obviously is a dark haunting track with a sweet melody that slowly drags you into the light. Dawn (Green Mix) brings new life to a sound that I was once so familiar with, Detroit techno. Although this mix is more house than techno, it features characteristic melodies of the 90s Detroit sound that I loved when I started to make music around the year 2000. This is only the first of a few Detroit inspired tracks that will surface this year. For me its like things went full circle, coming back to a sound where chord stabs, pads and warm bass are very present." - Joris Voorn
WOLFPACK - WHAT HUNTS TOGETHER STAYS TOGETHER

By uniting their music, fans and ultimately themselves as artists, together as one single entity, Wolfpack believe that their name reflects this group of friends that continues to grow every day, by believing in helping each other and living life and not conforming to crowds - but leading rather than following the herd - Wolfpack demonstrate the ultimate unstoppable qualities that their music can manifest itself into. Their rise in 2014 was so astronomical, Wolfpack debuted in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs poll at a well-received #84 position, a win they described as “unreal”, though certainly not eluding the worthy expectations from industry insiders and ravers alike. Catch the houndly duo this weekend at the Blue Moon festival at Serangan Beach for our recommended outdoor event not to be missed this weekend.
#LEAVEYOURAUTOGRAF - AUTOGRAF

Before the music, there was Future Soup. This was the first creation by Autograf, an eight-foot 500-pound sculpture. It’s an obsession with the Future and the limitless possibilities it holds. What started out as a desire to “make art,” turned into a curiosity to make music. This curiosity has set the Hype Machine charts ablaze hitting either the #1 or #2 spot five times for Autograf’s debut remix.. While Mixmag has labeled Autograf as one of their 8 US Artists to Take Dance Music To The Next Level & Dancing Robot naming them as a Live act to watch its now Bali's turn to see what it is exactly that makes Autograf tick at Woobar for Sunday sundowner not to be missed. Check out the interview on the site now..
WANKELMUT- OPPOSITE ALTERNATIVES
For his 24th birthday, in December of 2011, the Berlin DJ Wankelmut aka Jacob Dilssner added his sound-cloud touch to his bootleg remix of Asaf Avidan. Under the name „Reckoning Song / One day“, the title conquered the charts and, according to the Media Control Single Charts, reached 1st place, and the double platinum status in Germany. The legendary remix was placed number one of Single Charts in eight European countries. It was the most downloaded track of Beatport 2012 and an Airplay Hit all over Europe. Looking back, 1,5 million Singles were sold, and it was played 150+ million times on Youtube. At the end of 2012 the famous Electronic Music Magazine GROOVE distinguished him as the „Newcomer of the year“ and now the rest is history and just a small part of the Wankelmut success story that brings his path to Jenja on May 27
