New hotel to open in Wood Green
 In a nationwide first, a cutting edge hotel, bar and restaurant will open in a formerly vacant council building in Wood Green on Friday 20 May. Cllr Joe Goldberg, said, “What was once an empty council housing office has been turned into a brand new not-for-profit hotel aimed at artists and people in the creative industries visiting and working in London, and part-funded by Haringey Council. The artist community are always the first to recognise the potential of the places in London that other people have missed and this is the first sign of that happening here.â€
