The game we love can be as cruel as it is kind. Last Saturday we experienced the flip side of the one-point-game coin - a loss at the hands of Uni Blacks after they rushed a behind with three seconds to play. An ACL injury to one of our stars in Joe Black (above far left) late in the game added to the pain of the day. We wish Joe all the best with his recovery, and he has the full support of the Club.

Were it not for wayward kicking by Uni Blacks the loss would have been far greater - some thirty shots for goal were attempted by the Blackers. A number players gave their all on the day, none more so than our Racecourse Hotel Best on Ground Sam Williams.

See Simon Humphrey's match report HERE for further details.

The Dino's also took to the field in Laurimar (North-east of Melbourne) - and no doubt will be looking to secure the services of Chadstone Toyota for a courtesy bus the next time they make the journey! See the Dino's match report HERE.

The seniors have licked their wounds and look forward to the clash this Saturday against Old Carey at Carey Sports Field, Bulleen. We would love to see as many of the Blue & Gold Army there as possible!
Last week another 100 guests packed in for our home game luncheon as we heard from our special guest, former Swan and Bulldog, Simon Garlick (above with host Paul Cooper).

A host of special guests are set to join us for the remainder of our home game luncheons this year. Each of the luncheons are themed and our members are able to utilise their membership to attend at no extra cost, if they are yet to redeem their luncheon benefit. Other wise the cost is just $35 per person and includes a carvery lunch and your first drink.
