Dear Friend,
With public events being so troublesome these days, any complaints we might have about heat seem trivial. Our hearts are heavy and we carry on making blankets: picking them up from generous donors during the month as needed, and we will be labeling, bagging, and admiring them at our South Group meeting this coming Saturday as always. We deliver blankets whenever we know of a need or get a call. We hope these small acts will lend comfort to children in crisis. It's a positive thing. It's one of the things we can do. We are deeply grateful to so many in the Central Texas community who aid our efforts.
We always are glad to hear of unmet needs. If you know of a situation where children would benefit from having blankets, please let us know.
