Nearly-June Swoon!
I hope you're having lots of creative energy bursts as the weather warms. Time for plein air, cool drinks, and sunny skies. It's also a good time to think about your mid-year thoughts. Have you reached your goals?
It's been a shifting month, in a good way.
I took a break from poetry concentrations, but am still submitting.
I learned how to code in Ruby, and even learned some C#.
I created a game using Unity - a full tool set for making games!
(You may know Gone Home for example, Monument Valley, or the more recent Firewatch, which are Unity-engine games.)
The more I learn about different types of creation (coding, games) the more I learn that creating is the same process: being able to hold in your head what you want, and letting the inspirational whimsy that is your artistic expression work in your favor.
Don't be afraid to try to new things! It's easy to get caught up in the "I am a 3D Artist", or "I am solely a 2D Artist," "I'm a poet," "I'm a sculptor," or "I'm not artistic at all, but I can code." These are all self-limiting! You are larger than a label. Be You. Be Expansively Amazing.
