GALVmed at the Royal Highland Show

We were invited by one of our key funders, the UK Department for International Development to participate within the British Government marquee at the Royal Highland Show in Edinburgh. The Royal Highland Show, Scotland's grand annual farming and countryside event, ran from 23-26 June. During this time, we showcased our partnership work with show attendees.

We had interactions with the Rt Hon David Mundell MP, the Secretary of State for Scotland (featured in the middle of the above photo with GALVmed representatives); Rory Stewart MP, the Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs Minister; Sheila Voas, the Chief Veterinary Officer for Scotland, farmers and the public. Citizens who visited our stand were impressed with our partners' work in developing self-sustaining markets for livestock products in Africa and South Asia through which products are made available and accessible made available and accessible to livestock keepers.
