Around the Mill

Over the last few weeks we've been busy getting our wash and dyeing equipment moved over and installed in our new location. This week we have officially completed our first few batches and it feels good to now be 100% operational under our new roof. A few more lights need wiring and the new walls need to be painted but as of now the wash and dye equipment are moving full steam ahead.

Introducing...

The Spindle City Collection
Everyone here at NEAFP is very proud to announce our newest product additions, The Spindle City Collection Headbands. These first three headband designs were inspired by our home city Fall River's rich textile history.

Fall River, Massachusetts was once considered the textile capitol of the world and lovingly referred to as the "Spindle City." Known for it's rich textile history and iconic granite mills, this collection uses the architecture that continues to shape the city's culture as inspiration for these modern, abstract designs. Here at NEAFP, we are proud to be a part of Fall River's textile legacy as well as the resurgence in domestic manufacturing.
 

The Spindle City Collection is:

  • Made with Alpaca Fiber Grown on U.S. Farms
  • Knit with Yarn Spun in a Century Old New England Mill
  • Inspired, Designed, & Built in Fall River, Massachusetts

We've finished production on two new Wrist Warmer designs: a Zig Zag & Pointelle pattern. Both of these new additions are added to the catalog and ready to purchase now!

Regional Fiber Collections

Many farms across the country have sheared, are currently shearing, or planning to shear in the very near future. Collection points in Washington, Massachusetts, Wisconsin, Virginia, & New York are beginning to open their doors for farms to drop their fiber off.

We are currently in the process of also adding a collection point in Ohio and New Hampshire and expect to be posting those details ASAP.
