Racial Justice & Community Development
Thursday, June 23 from noon - 2:00 pm

Location: DCHFA (815 Florida Ave. NW)

Join us for our June monthly meeting on the intersection of racial justice and community development. We will be joined by special guest speakers from the Philadelphia Association of Community Development Corporations (PACDC).

Learn how PACDC has integrated racial justice into their policy framework, and how that has shaped their strategies to capitalize on the city's growth in a way that is equitable and inclusive of all its residents in all of their neighborhoods through:
  • Empowering residents & community groups to create inclusive communities
  • Creating & preserving quality affordable housing
  • Expanding economic opportunities and increase local hiring & sourcing
  • Understanding threats and impacts of displacement, and
