The Annual Meeting of the Congregation will take place after worship on June 12. Please plan to attend this important congregational gathering. The following business items are on the agenda:
+ Electing church officers + Approving the pastor’s terms of call
+ Electing officers of the corporation + Accepting the Annual Report
+ Receiving the budget + Recognizing outgoing officers
GA Opening Worship Pastor Katie and Josh Dunham will be helping lead morning worship June 18 at the convention center. Volunteer and connect with Presbyterians from around the world at the Presbyterian Church (USA)’s biannual conference, General Assembly, coming to Portland June 18-25! Parents Meeting Youth group parents are invited to meet to discuss the summer, future mission trips, and next year will be taking place May 29 at 4 p.m.
The MHCC Choirs are giving their spring performance on Thurs., May 26, at 7:30 p.m. Hosted by St. Andrew's Memory Care, 7617 SE Main St., 97215, in the Renaissance-inspired chapel of this former abbey.
Graduate recognition June 5th As the end of another school year approaches its time to honor and recognize 2016 graduates. Take a moment after church to add a note to the Bibles that will be dedicated to MPC’s grads in worship next month.
2016-2017 Pledge Drive MPC has received 80 pledges so far for a total of $169,782. Your pledge makes a difference! If you haven’t pledged yet, you can mail your card to the office or drop it in the offering plate. Thank you for helping MPC continue to grow in faith and service!
