A TASTE OF THINGS TO COME
Last month, we had a special preview event for cast and crew. It was a thrill to share the movie with so many of the people who worked to make it happen. And after being sequestered in digital post-production solitude for the last year, I loved being able to watch the movie with a live audience. Judging from all the laughter, applause, and occasional sniffles in the room, I think it is safe to say that the movie was a big hit.

WHEN YOU'VE LOST YOUR GOOD WOMAN
You know all those classic blues songs about "losing your woman?" Those songs full of remorse, deep soul, and self-pity that somehow make us feel good, despite their depressing lyrics. Well, we have one of those too -- but with a sapphic twist. Just click on the video above to see a sample of Nikki's (Cara AnnMarie's) soulful, Motown-inspired wailing after the loss of her lover. (The oddsmakers are saying that she gets her back, but you'll have to watch the whole movie to find out for sure:)

HONEY, DON'T FORGET OUR ANNIVERSARY!
In celebration of the landmark U.S. Supreme Court decision last summer, and of Pride Month, I'm going to be releasing a special video on the one year anniversary of Obergefell v. Hodges, June 26. So please stay tuned. It's one of my favorite scenes in the movie, and, I believe, an appropriate musical response to the "religious freedom" laws and "bathroom bills" that have been populating our state legislatures lately.
In the meantime, here's wishing you a happy June. Thanks for all your continuing support and encouragement!
