Summer Meeting Schedule
Meet Our Social Media Consultant
We are excited to introduce Janet Maples, a social media consultant who is working with Ed! to further develop our online presence. She will be taking photos throughout downtown Edmonds to highlight all we have to offer - say hello if you see her!
"I am a graphic designer with a passion for natural light photography. I love taking pictures, especially candids of life as it's happening. My husband and I live near Green Lake with our daughter and 2 crazy, goofy mutts."
Launched in 2014, the Ed! courtesy umbrella program helped introduce the Alliance to downtown Edmonds. The bright green umbrellas and silver stands include the logo and website - and function as a ‘walking billboard’. As expected with our research (and similar to U Village’s courtesy umbrella program), we experience significant loss of umbrellas throughout the year, and in order to continue the program, anticipate annual expenditures to maintain the umbrellas throughout our boundaries. In addition, we are recommending adding additional stands to increase the ease and use - and return - of the umbrellas. Please take a moment to tell us what you think!
