Corner Brook - June 10th / St. John’s - June 13th.
Who should come?
There are a few new provincial initiatives underway and we will explain how town clerks, councillors and mayors will play a role.
Matched Training Assistance Funding is available.
Financial assistance to attend these workshops have been approved for Matched Training Financial Assistance. I urge you to send someone from your town (either a town staff or elected official) so they can bring the important information being disseminated at this workshop back to your town.

Why is this workshop important?
It is really important that town staff and elected officials in charge of making decisions about drinking water in their town know how to use the water resources portal (an online tool). The water resources portal is where all important drinking water reports for your town are stored. There will be a tutorial about this at the workshop. There will also be lively discussion in the afternoon, with provincial officials present, where we can all talk about what we need to move forward with solutions on the local, regional and provincial level. If you have any questions at all call or e-mail Sarah Minnes: telephone: 709-630-0287 or email: water@municipalnl.ca
