Weekly Sessions are Filling Up!


We are nearing the start of another amazing CYL summer, so get your registration forms in as soon as possible.  Two program weeks have already reached capacity: Intermediate A and Senior B.  Don’t delay in securing your spot for CYL 2016!

Co-operative Young Leaders is Ontario’s only summer camp that instills a co-operative conscience while promoting leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.  Be sure to contact Stephen if you or a friend want to attend CYL but are still looking for a sponsor.  Lake St. George is waiting for you!

2016 Session Details


CYL is organized into 3 levels: Junior, Intermediate and Senior. Get the most out of this development program by progressing through all three levels over 3 or 4 years.

Junior For first-time participants 14–15 yrs
A         Sunday July 3 – Saturday July 9
B         Sunday July 10 – Saturday July 16

Intermediate For Junior graduates or first-time participants 15-16 yrs
A         Sunday July 17 – Saturday July 23 (Contact Stephen for waiting list)
B         Sunday July 24 – Saturday July 30

Senior For Intermediate graduates and first-time participants 16-18 yrs
A         Saturday July 30 – Saturday August 6
B         Saturday August 6 – Saturday August 13 (Contact Stephen for waiting list)

Program Fees
Junior & Intermediate:       $850+tax
Senior:                               $875+tax
Non-member sponsors add $100. 

NEW FOR 2016: the Co-operative Commute! Bus transportation will be provided to as many Junior and Intermediate participants as possible from Southwestern Ontario.

Scholarship and Bursary Opportunities


Thanks to the generosity of the Guelph Community Foundation, we are awarding 4 scholarships to Guelph area youth (16-18 years old) to attend CYL this summer!  To apply for your chance to win $250, send an email to Stephen before June 15th explaining how you co-operate in your community (max. 200 words).

If you are planning to return to the second or third year of CYL and need support through the Bernie Daly Fund, please download the APPLICATION (note: the fund is specific to returning participants of CYL only).


DONATE TO THE BERNIE DALY MEMORIAL FUND
If you would like to donate to the Bernie Daly Fund, please direct the donations through the Ontario Credit Union Foundation's ONLINE PORTAL, and a tax receipt will be issued automatically. Organizations or individuals in all co-op sectors are invited to participate in the Fund.

 
APPLY FOR A BURSARY TO ATTEND CYL
The Guido Chezzi Bursary is open to youth fourteen to fifteen years old who are interested in starting CYL as junior (first year) participants. It is being offered to teens wishing to attend the program who are not already partnered with a co-op or credit union, with the goal of sending a new participant each year. Download the APPLICATION.
