TIQBIZ
Have you downloaded the App? If you haven't you may be missing out on receiving important news from us. The school uses TIQBIZ to advise parents of changes to event details (ie if the buses will be returning early or late from an event), reminders and even notify if your child is receiving an award at assembly. The App also allows you to access the school website and newsletter. It is easy to download. Search TIQBIZ and follow the prompts. If you run into trouble call into the office and the staff will be able to help set it up for you.

Grade 3's have been working on procedure text in reading and writing. On Wednesday they followed a procedure to create finger puppets.
Social Enterprise
Year 6's will be selling cupcakes for $1 on Tuesday at recess at the Learning Centre as a part of their Social Enterprise.
Head Lice
We know that head lice are often a problem in schools, particularly Primary Schools and understand the frustration that parents feel when infestations continue to occur.
We would like to remind all families of the following:
Head lice do not have wings or jumping legs so they cannot fly or jump head to head - they can only crawl.
At school we reinforce our rule of not touching other students - this helps to minimise the spread of head lice.
We ask all families to regularly check their children's hair for signs of lice and / or eggs.
Any student at school found to have live lice will need to be collected from school.
Students can return to school the day after treatment has begun.
2017 Enrolments
We are now taking Foundation enrolments for 2017. New families to the school are encouraged to contact the office to organise an appointment to be shown around the school. Families with siblings already attending MPS can call into the office to pick up an enrolment pack and advise the office staff of the new student's details.
