Dear Torah Sister,
Welcome to the new Torah Sisters Magazine! I hope and pray you will be blessed and encouraged by it. Here are some things I want you to know:
This magazine is JUST starting, and so far, it's a lot of links to items from the web we think you'll enjoy. With the magazine, you can stay up to date on web news without having to be chained to Facebook all week! Thank goodness, eh?
I am looking for contributors. Do you write? Have a blog? Follow Yeshua and Torah? Get in touch. Let's chat, Sister!

Depression can be a difficult beast to tame. Like many people I struggled with depression and anxiety for years. My journey with that unwelcome guest came following a diagnosis of endometriosis as well as the infertility that came a long for a very unwelcome ride.
For many years I struggled under its weight, often I believed there was no way out. I had prayed for healing and yet healing eluded me. I knew through it all though that God would not forsake me and yet I truly struggled. I felt that He was distant. You may feel that He isn’t concerned with your pain, or that in your heartache you are forgotten. I want to encourage you that even in your darkest days He cares for you.
I don’t claim to have all the answers and if you are finding each day difficult to get through I encourage you to seek professional counsel.

Preparing for Summer Fun
One of the very first things I do prior to the summer (and winter) season is to get my ’emergency car bag’ in order. It makes it easier for me to just drop everything and head out, rather than have to run around gathering up everything, last minute.
Another thing I like to do in preparation for a new season, is prepare salves, make soaps, sunscreen and sprays. I usually do this all in one afternoon so it is done for the season, keeps it simple and of course making our own ensures we know what we’re putting on our bodies!
