Gifting the Gift of Sight contributed to the success of another two outreaches in Ethiopia performing 1,750 examinations and 281 successful surgeries in just two weeks! Many of the surgery recipients were bilaterally blind and regained sight in both eyes.
 

Among these was Ragassa Gemeda, a 53 year old man who was blind for the last four months. He had his vision completely restored because of this outreach. When he described his life he said that "everything was dark."
