Pastas De Almendra - Almond Cakes

These little cakes served recently as a dessert for a Paella dinner are incredibly easy to make but also are gluten free...

You can also use ready made ground almonds but the action of freshly grinding the blanched nuts does ensure a more distinct nutty flavour...

Flaming June...

Our next supper club event is already full on the Friday night and only has two places free for the Saturday so you better be quick if you want to experience what we are terming our "Flaming June" menu...

Covert dining reaches new heights...

It is back...

When we did a charity dinner in the summer of 2012 that helped raise nearly £1500 with a dinner served to six people a dinner at the top of Yalding Church Tower. We did say never again...

Well we have agreed to do it all again on Saturday July 2nd 2016 and all in the aid once again of the Yalding Church Preservation Society - the charity tasked with helping maintain the fabric of Yalding Church.

We are offering six places on top of the tower but you could also be one of the twenty couples invited as a prizewinner to join in this special pop up event!

Summer Holidays...

Our Autumn events...

We are taking a break from the end of July through August - we are already planning our September event and will let you know those details as soon as we can.

We will be visiting our French home for the last time in August as we have recently sold it so will be clearing it out... That is not to say we will not return to the village or France but new adventures ahead await...
