Ottawa - Atlantic University Pub Night
Join fellow Atlantic Canadian university alumni and friends on June 2, 2016 for a fun night of socializing, networking, and sharing East Coast traditions. There will be live music, food and drink specials, and lots of UPEI swag to be given away. Last year UPEI was second in attendance (just behind Dalhousie University). This is our year! Make sure you take along as many UPEI alumni and friends as you can.

2016 Reunion Weekend
August 4th will be here before you know it and there are many exciting events planned for UPEI Reunion weekend, August 4 - 6.
Highlights will include:
- Opening of the School of Sustainable Design Engineering
- Distinguished and Inspiring Alumni Awards
- All Years' Alumni, Staff, and Faculty Mixer with Favourite Professors
- Panther Family Party (something for the little ones)

UPEI Panther Golf Classic
There are a limited number of spaces left for the 2016 UPEI Panther Golf Classic taking place at Belvedere Golf Club on June 16 at 12 noon. Last year's tournament sold out so don't delay.
Registration includes green fee, golf cart, boxed lunch, UPEI gift, and a wrap up banquet. There will be a silent auction and graduates of the past decade will receive a $25 discount off individual registration and up to $50 off a team registration (must have two alumni of the past decade).
The UPEI Panther Golf Classic is sponsored by Stewart McKelvey.

We are proud of your accomplishments!
- Bruce Davison (BA '93) was elected President of the PEI Association of Social Workers. Bruce currently works at Community Mental Health West in Summerside.
- Michael Mayne (BSc '90) was appointed as the new CEO of Health PEI in March.
- Aaron Kenny (BA '98) completed the Doctor of Ministry degree from Carey Theological College and lives in Nairobi, Kenya with his wife and three children where they serve as the Africa directors for Canadian Baptist Ministries.
- Mitchell O'Shea (BA '11) has been admitted to the Bar of Prince Edward Island and is now an Associate, practicing with Macnutt & Dumont Law Office.
- Father Austin Bradley (SDU '51) celebrated the 60th anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood.
- Parker Grimmer (BA '87, BEd '92, MEd '02) has been named Director of English Public Schools Branch on PEI.
- Pam Williams (BBA '92) was recently sworn is as the 111th President of the Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce.
- Gerald MacDonald (BEd '76, BA '83) was re-elected for a three-year term as the Atlantic Canada director at the recent Canadian Soccer Association AGM.
- Charlotte Bryand (BA '81, BEd '83) received the P.E.I. Teacher-Librarians' Administrators Award in recognition of her strong support of school libraries.
- Carolyn Sanford (DVM '00, PhD '06) has been named PEI's new Provincial Veterinarian.
- Allan Bertram (BSc '93) was the 2016 winner of the Environment Division Research and Development Dima Award.
- Andrew Silverstone (DVM '00) received Eagle Scout honour 28 years later.
