3D Printing in the Classroom!

Develop the capability to grow learning at your school with 3D printing across the curriculum. Our 3D printing workshop is designed to deliver on two fronts: developing the skills to operate all of the software and hardware to get 3D printing right away, and to provide specific examples of how the technology can be incorporated to supplement (not replace) existing coursework.

Summer Workshops have begun!

Our summer workshops are underway and running at full-speed with teachers growing their practice in all kinds of ways. I personally had the opportunity to facilitate a 3 Day PBL Workshop last week in Graves County in beautiful Western Kentucky. I captured some video of teachers peer critiquing each other's work using our PBL Project Design Rubric and posted it on our TeachThought PD Twitter account.

This Washington Post article caught my attention and left me wondering on Twitter what school might look like if our accountability was focused on questions more than on answers.

Marc Maron Podcast with Sturgill Simpson

Many years ago I played a show with Sturgill Simpson...before he hit the big time and was still fronting a band called Sunday Valley. Anyway, recently while driving to a workshop I tuned into this very interesting podcast. My takeaway is that Sturgill is a really thoughtful and interesting character who also happens to be writing and recording some really great records. If you're a fan of music or Sturgill Simpson I highly recommend it and I also recommend skipping the John C. Reilly teaser which takes the first 20 mins.
