You know about Fidel Castro and the Cuban Missile Crisis and cigars. You know about the cars - old American 50’s icons that have been ‘preserved’ and are in use every day. Other than being a large Caribbean island, that’s about the extent of most people’s knowledge of this unusual island. 

The Cuba Classic 2017 is a chance to see and experience the Cuba of Fidel Castro – possibly for the last time and before McDonlads gets there. 

The rally explores virtually the entire island from the hustle and bustle of Havana to the fantastic west where the fishing is amongst the best in the world. We take in the small towns preserved in aspic from the pre-revolution times, including the point where Christopher Columbus landed in 1492, claiming the Island for his Spanish masters. No visit to Cuba is complete without a visit to a cigar plantation and factory where you can discover the truth about cigars being rolled on the thighs of virgins! And you have to try the seven year old rum to drink with your cigar.
