The City of Calgary’s proposed Building Maintenance Bylaw aims to better protect the public by requiring that the exterior of Calgary’s buildings be visually assessed for necessary repairs every five years. This bylaw will help to proactively identify potentially hazardous situations before they occur.
The report on the Building Maintenance Bylaw is planned to be presented to the Standing Policy Committee on Planning and Urban Development on June 8, 2016. This meeting is open to the public.
