There is always that one thing that we want to work on to improve our performance… If cycling is the aspect of triathlon that you wish to improve upon, we have the information that you might be looking for!

Although we are not currently offering draft-legal or bike handling clinics for adults, there are many resources within the province that will allow you to further develop your cycling skills. For more information on opportunities to become a more experienced cyclist, please check out this page.
Save the Date!

Our Annual Triathlon Conference will be on September 23 - 25 at the Marriott River Cree Resort in Edmonton, this fall. There will be activities for the entire family, and plenty of awards to go around!

If you are competing in one of the Points Series, you may be the recipient of a medal at the Awards Banquet! We hope to see you all there.
Canada Summer Games Design Contest

Alberta Sport Connection (ASC) is looking for a design that will incorporate 4-6 pins that can be put together to make a larger shape (puzzle pin), as well as stand-alone ideas. If there is something that signifies Alberta or the Canada Summer Games it can be included that into the shape of the pins. Each pin should indicate Team Alberta in some way, with the words Alberta or the ‘A’ part of our logo. The 2017 Canada Summer Games will be the 50th Anniversary of the Canada Games, and that could be incorporated as well.

Here is the Team Alberta Logo in a few variations and the winning designs for the 2016 Arctic Games, so you have ASC is looking for.

If an athlete’s design is selected, they will be sent a framed set of the finished pins (and other great perks)!

All design suggestions should be submitted
to steven.patrick@albertasport.ca
by July 15th.
