Fostering is a Wonderful way to have a dog without all the expense. We furnish food, medical and preventatives. You furnish the comfort of a home and lots of love. By taking a foster dog into your home, you actually save two lives: the life of your foster dog and the life of the dog who takes his/her place in the shelter. We cannot do what we do here at Dogs 2nd Chance without the help of our foster families. We are in need of fosters to help us continue to helping those that need it the most. If you have ever thought about helping before now is the time we would love to talk to you about opening your home and the benefits of the rewards of saving a life.

As summer approaches and the temperature continues to rise, it is always good to have a reminder of how it will effect our animals. Specifically when we like to take them with us in our cars for rides. It is never a good idea to leave your animal in a hot car with the windows up or even down for that matter. Please keep this in mind and protect your beloveds from anything that would put them in harms way.
