We Boldly Went

...to the opening weekend "Landing Party" for the new Star Trek exhibit at EMP Seattle, as shown above. (You can see more of my photos on Flickr.) Thanks to curator (and fellow Clarion West alum) Brooks Peck for inviting us!

I highly recommend checking out EMP—which also has permanent Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror exhibits—if you're in the Seattle area. And upstairs in the Trek exhibit, you can listen to audio of me blathering about my own fandom:

Get complete details at curtiscchen.com/booktour (fair warning: redirects you to Facebook because I'M LAZY).

In somewhat related news, as person of color and former software engineer, this tweet really resonated with me:

(The talk was "Works On My Machine, or the Problem is between Keyboard and Chair" by Lena Reinhard; video online soon?)

That's all for now. If you're on social media and want to follow Claire and my adventures this summer, look for posts tagged #DawnOfAuthors!
