FREE Recreational Soccer with NPSA

In the United States, soccer has become an expensive sport that requires families to pay in order to play for an established club. While paying for coaching services is a reality in today’s market, this pay-to-play model has greatly limited the number of children who can participate in the game.

Our new Spartan program aims to eliminate those costs. We want to open soccer to everyone and specifically those families who have been held back by the rising costs of youth sports. The mission of our foundation is simple: To offer the underserved youth in the greater Eastside region access to quality soccer training and competitive games that will help them develop [the] soccer skills so they can enjoy the beautiful game or reach their potential and play for a competitive youth club.  We want to enable Soccer For All!Please register today using the link below!

Music Grant Awarded

This year the Bellevue Schools Foundation funded an Enrichment and Innovation Grant to purchase a Singing Skills Curriculum Collection for Spiritridge students to use in K-4 music classes and 4/5 choir rehearsals. The collection includes resource books, choral literature, CDs, visual aids, and tangibles/manipulatives (such as an expanding and contracting “Hoberman Sphere” that students use to better understand the mechanics of proper breath support).

Throughout the school year, students have been using materials in this collection to focus on, develop, and/or build their singing skills. This is a permanent collection that will support musical learning for Spiritridge students for years to come. Thank you, BSF, and to our Spiritridge Community, for supporting music in our schools! – Pamela Faletto, Music Teacher
