This Wednesday we bring in the month of June by welcoming back Aoife O'Donovan.  Known as one of the sweetest voices in Folk music today, Aoife is touring with a band in support of her new recording, "In the Magic Hour".  Her work with Crooked Still gave her a name to remember in, but today you can find her writing and singing her own material, playing with numerous musicians including Sara Watkins and Sarah Jarosz on the I'm with her tour.  You can also find her regularly performing  on The Prairie Hoime Companion.  Check out the video below of Aoife covering a Joni Mitchell song.  What an awesome voice. I can't tell you how excited I am to have The Steel Wheels come to the G.A.R. Hall on Friday, June 3rd.  I started following this band 3 years ago and haven't stopped!  I never miss them when they come to town, and I'm so excited they are finally going to be on the G.A. R Hall Stage! This is a tight band with quality musicianship and unique vocals. This band organizes The Red Wing Roots Music Festival every year and if you have the opportunity make the trip down to the beautiful Shenandoah Valley, Virginia, the place these boys call home, for a great weekend of music.  Tickets are available at www.peninsulahistory.org
