Church Out of Church
Sunday, May 29th

Church is not somewhere we go. Think of Church as something deployed. We are the Church. This Sunday we will live this out with our first "Church Out of Church."

This Sunday we will be helping someone out with their yard. Bring your garden tools, and join us in the Sanctuary at 10:00 am for a brief worship service. Then, we will go out and show the love of God ... our love of neighbor, by helping someone in our community. Then, we will return to the church building for lunch. Come and join us in the fun!

Consecration Ceremony Dedicating "the Place" to God

We had our Consecration Ceremony for "the Place" on May 15th, which happened to be Pentecost. As you can see, many people dressed in red for the occasion. It was a great time as we showed off our new building and honored all the people involved and all their hard work. Naturally, it wouldn't be a Joseph UMC event without great food.

Jan Casey and Todd Watson blessed us all with a beautiful rendition of "Surely the Presence of the Lord Is in This Place."

The presence of the Lord was with us as we could see the Spirit's reflection in everyone's eyes.

Yard Sale - Saturday June 11th, 10 am - 2 pm

Have some items that may be looking for a new home? Have some empty shelf space to fill? Angie Rubin is organizing a Yard Sale on June 11th. Proceeds will be split between the Benevolence Fund and the Landscaping and Parking Lot fund for "the Place."

Join Us for Our Current Sermon Series Through June 19th

United Methodist Women Meet Thursday, June 16th

Join us for a picnic at City Park! Festivities begin at 12:00 pm. After this, we will be taking a summer break until September. Contact the church office for more information or address information at jumc@eoni.com or (541) 432-3102 (or "reply" to this email).

All women of the church are encouraged to be apart of United Methodist Women. The group meets on the third Thursday of every month except July and August. Our next meeting is Thursday, June 16th at 12:00 pm.
