Join the  Portland Art Museum for a conversation on Native Fashion Now, the first large-scale traveling exhibition of contemporary Native American fashion, celebrating indigenous designers from across the United States and Canada, from the 1950s to today.

Heather Watkins: Planthouse

Heather Watkins is currently exhibiting in Reservoir, a two person exhibition also featuring the work of Louise Eastman at Planthouse in New York city. The exhibition takes the idea of a deep, often unseen or unnamed source as point of departure, the exhibition includes new weavings, drawings, sculpture, printmaking, and ceramic work. A limited edition collaborative print portfolio published in an edition of 15 by the artists will accompany the exhibition.

Willy Heeks: Bristol Museum

On May 26th artist Willy Heeks will open a solo exhibition at the Bristol Art Museum in Rhode Island. Bristol in Mind, will include paintings and works on paper by Heeks. There will be an opening reception on May 27th and the exhibition will remain on view through July 10, 2016.

Heeks is represented by Elizabeth Leach Gallery.
