April and May were busy months as we wrapped up things on campus, planned for the upcoming Fall semester, said our goodbyes to students, celebrated with a few who graduated and prepared for our summer assignments with Cru. One thing I love about being on staff with Cru is the change of pace during the summer.
Tomorrow I will be boarding a plane with 11 others (pictured above) on an exciting 5-week adventure to Lebanon. I am full of all sorts of emotions about going to the Middle East, a part of the world I never thought I’d experience. But I am confident that the Lord has led me and my team thus far and will continue to lead us as we walk in the power of the Holy Spirit.
During our time there we will be taking classes at one of the universities, immersing ourselves in Lebanese culture of dance, cooking, and theater and making friends with Lebanese students we meet as well as eating lots of delicious Mediterranean food!
Our biggest prayer is that we would boldly and clearly communicate the gospel to the students we meet. Many have never met a true follower of Jesus and have never heard the Good News. We also hope to meet Christians on campus who have a desire to reach their peers for Christ.
Pray with us that our team would engage in significant spiritual conversations, gain a deeper love for the gospel and God’s heart for the world, and that we effectively serve the long-term team in reaching Lebanese universities for Christ. I cannot wait to share with you about all the Lord does when I return! Thank you for going to battle with us in prayer!

Prayer Requests
- Students to know Christ and make Him known on their campus and around the world.
- Students from the SC Lowcountry on Cru summer missions: that they would fall more in love with Jesus this summer.
- My team as we leave the USA May 27th: for safe travel and for the mission to go smoothly and for a safe return July 2nd.
- Our team to be unified along with the long-term team and that we would love each other well.
- Lebanese students to be receptive to the Gospel as we introduce them to the truth of Jesus Christ.
- Lebanese students to be raised up to lead spiritual movements on their campus, where everyone knows someone who truly follows Christ.
- My personal walk with the Lord that I would walk in the power of the Holy Spirit moment by moment especially as I lead this team overseas.
