William T. Grant  Foundation: Nominations Sought
Temple University can submit nominations to the 2016
William T. Grant Scholars Program.

The Program is for early-career researchers in the social, behavioral, and health sciences.  Specifically, the Foundation seeks research that increases understanding of programs, policies, and practices that reduce inequality in youth outcomes, and strategies to improve the use of research evidence in ways that benefit youth.
Applicants must be within seven years of receiving their doctoral degrees or completion of their first medical residencies and hold a tenure track position at the University.  Applicants must be nominated by their institution.  While an institution may nominate more than one candidate, only one applicant may be nominated from a major division each year (e.g. College of Liberal Arts, School of Medicine).
The application period is open through July 6, 2016.  Awardees receive $350,000 over five years.
All CLA candidates should submit a one-page project description outlining the five-year career plan, along with an NIH-style biosketch by June 1st to
kimberly.fahey@temple.edu
