Want to start yoga?

It's never too late


and in some classes there are plenty of spots suitable for both beginners OR  yogi's with more experience  .........

11.00 am Tuesday
Open Yoga with Elia is a great place to start for beginners or those returning to yoga. Each class is structured around a balanced sequence of asana (yoga poses), a focus on the breath and inward reflection to help quieten the mind.

5.30pm Wednesday
Astanga Yoga with Helen
- a dynamic style, suited to those who enjoy an energetic class, generating a deeply cleansing internal heat. This enables your body to eliminate toxins and creates a feeling of deep relaxation and lightness.

6.00am Thursday
Dynamic Yoga with Carolyn
-Start the day with an energetic yoga class. Whilst beginners are welcome, the emphasis is on flow and energy. Warm the body from the inside, harness the natural rhythm of the breath and install focus and energy for your day.

10.30 am Thursday 
Over 55's with Gail
- Specially adapted yoga postures will awaken the body, enhancing physical well- being and will leave you smiling from the inside out. By stretching the stiff parts and strengthening the weak parts of the body, your energy will increase and physical mobility will improve.

Eating Disorders Conversation and Community Support Group - Supported by Jenni Gilholme and Umina Beach Yoga 


Having an unhealthy relationship with food is not uncommon
BUT it can be very hard to talk about. 

This NEW group is for anyone that struggles with their relationship to food, diagnosed or not. It is for everyone who relates to the struggle and anguish that living with an eating disorder can inflict on everyday life. 

This is NOT a therapy group, but a time to get together with others who have similar experiences - its about sharing in the stories and experiences that have helped. 

Gatherings will be held monthly, at Umina Beach Yoga studio - we plan to commence this group in term 3. However specific time / times will be confirmed after after the level of interest to participate has been expressed.

TERM 2 continues until Saturday July 2nd. Any pre paid and missed classes can be replaced by attending any of the timetabled classes until then.
