One of my favorite artists, Marc Whitney of the Whitney Gallery in Laguna Beach, paints flowers and interiors (win,win), as well as landscapes, and even sculpts. Needless to say, it’s the floral paintings with their ethereal colors that I’m loving this spring. See more at marcwhitney.com

Bring the Garden Indoors

We all know garden ornaments look great in the garden, but I love them in interiors. So bring the garden indoors and have fun doing it. Go on the hunt for vintage pieces online or at architectural salvage places. Some of my favorites are Adkins Architectural Antiques in Houston and Pittet Architecturals in Dallas. I found the wonderful statue at the antiques fair in Round Top, Texas.
