Labour MP Rob Flello has today tabled an Early Day Motion calling for the immediate resignation of Cathy Warwick in the interests of the reputation of the Royal College of Midwives

The life saving work of children's hospices

"The importance of children’s hospices for newborn children cannot be overstated. In providing specialist care for the most vulnerable, they provide a striking witness to the goodness which is inherent in so many other members of our society: the dedicated staff who do their utmost to bring happiness the children’s lives; the ordinary men and women who invest so much of their free time to fundraise for the hospices; and the parents who defy the pessimistic cries of eugenic doctors to give their child the chance to live a short, but happy life. We cannot take children’s hospices for granted. It is our duty to make sure that we do all we can to support them and spread the word about the life saving and life enriching work they do."
