Braun's 440-foot bomb

Games played May 26, 2016

The Yankees called-up 29-year-old pitcher and Team Israel alum Richard Bleier. Bleier toiled nine years in the minors to get to this place in his career. He is expected to suit up for tonight's away game against the Tampa Bay Rays.

Milwaukee LF Ryan Braun hit a go-ahead solo home run in a 6-2 win over Atlanta, extending his streak of reaching base to 28 games, the second-longest active streak in the Majors. His 440-shot was the longest of the day among MLB hitters. The 2013 Most Valuable Player ranks second in the N.L. in batting average (.361), third in slugging percentage (.599) and OPS (1.025), and 11th in homers (9) and RBIs (30/tied).

Toronto CF Kevin Pillar singled in a 3-1 win over the Yankees.

Joc Pederson's Dodgers, Ian Kinsler's Tigers, and Danny Valencia's Athletics were idle.

Scott Feldman did not play in Houston's 4-2 win over San Francisco.
