OUT OF MANY. ONE CHURCH
OUT OF MANY. ONE CHURCH
To our friends, members, and supporters of TriWorship Covenant Church,

I just wanted to give you a mid-year update on what’s happening at TriWorship Covenant. Can you believe that half of this amazing year has completed?!

We kicked off 2016 enthusiastically after closing the 2015 year with a bang!

Easter came very fast this year of 2016, and we embraced the power of the resurrection of Jesus fully!   Our Easter Celebration and Community Easter Egg Hunt was preceded with weeks of evangelism to the community in the form of knocking on doors, offering prayers, assessing the needs, and building new relationships.

We are completely grateful for how many God allowed us to touch by way of our evangelistic efforts, and showing up to our Easter Worship Celebration and Community Easter Egg Hunt.   A few of our Easter visitors returned back and joined our TW family.

Our Community Easter Egg Hunt, was more than Children having fun looking for eggs, but it was our opportunity to serve in the love of Christ.  A love that was received as well as love reciprocated to us!

The City of Federal Way, the city which TriWorship Covenant resides, was devastated with three homicides in one week.   Soon after that the City joined together, to march against human trafficking.   Given the climate of the recent crimes, this march was a march against ALL crime in the area.  I’m so proud of an army from TriWorship Covenant Church being on the front lines and praying for the city!

Mother’s Day was an amazing expression of love celebrating our mothers!  Every mother was celebrated and given a rose.  The day was climaxed with the singing of the song “Mama”, by Boys to Men in a very emotional tribute by our own Keilan Calhoun and Kayla Grant.  No eye was without tears!  Just a wonderful time for celebrating our Mothers.

 Children Ministry and Foot Washing

I wanted to conclude by highlighting the amazing work that our children’s ministry has been doing with our talented children’s ministry team.   Our children’s ministry is much more than a childcare, but each week our children’s church participates in a lesson.  Each child leaves with a nugget that brings them closer to God.   One such lesson was one of when Jesus washed the feet of his disciples and taught that the washing of others feet is symbolic for servant hood to each other.  A picture is worth a thousand words.

We are thankful to God for many who have responded to our invitation of partnership!   The work of planting a church carries a price of sacrifice.  We really appreciate every prayer and every gift. If you have not yet, please prayerfully consider financially partnering with us with a one time, monthly gift or annual gift.

I personally thank you for your consideration!
