Alhamdulillah, we have been blessed to reach the month of Ramadan. According to the majority of masajid in the area, Taraweeh begins tonight and the first fast is tomorrow. Additionally, there will be a community Iftar followed by Taraweeh on June 15th for the UMBC community.

The MSA will be providing Jummah every Friday at 1:30 pm in the IFC throughout Ramadan. We will also be having mini iftars once a week in shaa Allah.

Iftar Dates

These iftars are open to anyone, especially those who do not have families or friends nearby to break their fast with, so please feel free to spread the word. We are also hosting a few Syrian refugee families during these iftars through the BRIDGE America organization which is geared towards helping Syrian refugee families in the area.
