His guests for this class include publishers in pop, rock, and urban from Warner-Chappell, Universal Music Publishing Group, and independent publishers in music licensing and more. With more than twenty years touring and song pitching experience in Europe, Brett Perkins will share his overview of the current scene, strategies and opportunities for those seeking to tour and market their songs overseas in this free and open event at The Songwriting School of Los Angeles on Wednesday, 6/8, 7:30pm.

In this presentation, QnA, and conversation, Brett Perkins will unpack the Why, When, Where, and How of building in-roads in Europe and elsewhere that might allow a performing songwriter opportunities to perform and place songs in various international markets. Read more about the event HERE.

Mr. Sedaka joins author Paul Zollo for Episode 11 of Songwriters on Songwriting, LIVE for a conversation with brief performances, Monday, June 13, 2pm at The Songwriting School of Los Angeles.

Special Guest: Longtime Sedaka co-writer and instructor at The Songwriting School Phil Cody. The two penned such classics as "Laughter in the Rain" and "Solitaire" together, earning them 2-Time ASCAP Song of the Year Award Honors.
