Make Your Drawing Dynamic!

Drawing techniques used with ink can be as varied as the artists that use them. There are so many wonderful ways to control this medium, and the techniques can add emotion and fine details to any drawing. Knowing different pen and drawing techniques can translate into adding an extra special touch to a greeting card or even a scrapbook page. Join instructor Nancy Lybrink for a one-day Pen & Ink Workshop, Saturday July 9. Register online ID# 2184.401

Good to Know!

You can win the fight against freezer burn! Put a layer of plastic wrap directly on top of your ice cream or frozen yogurt before replacing the lid. This prevents air from causing unappetizing crystals on the surface.

Anything Goes for Summer Rec & Ed Fitness and Yoga

Going on vacation this summer? You can still take a fitness or yoga class. Enroll in any fitness or yoga class and if you have to miss any classes, ask your instructor for a make up slip that can be used in designated Fitness or Yoga classes. Check out pages 19–23 in Rec & Ed's Summer catalog. Questions? Contact Victoria Cendrowski, cendrowv@aaps.k12.mi.us
